playlist / ranting about the songs i discovered in march!
March was okay as far as music discovery goes. I wasn’t all that motivated to hunt for new music, or even listen to old favorites, even though I found myself with buttloads of extra time on my hands. I utilized my extra time by watching tv shows and playing Animal Crossing, to be completely honest.

Nevertheless, there were some new songs that caught my ear, and I will share them with you today. Since I watched a couple of new movies, their soundtracks had some good tunes and I found myself listening to them on repeat when I did listen to music.

So here’s the list of my favorites that I discovered and listened to last month!

march 2020 songs

ABOUT LOVE by Marina.

→ “My head gets messy when I try to hide, the things I love about you in my mind. I don’t really know a lot about love, a lot about love, a lot about love. But you’re in my head, you’re in my blood, and it feels so good, it hurts so much.”

INTO THE UNKNOWN by Panic! At the Disco.

→ “Every day’s a little harder as I feel your power grow. Don’t you know there’s part of me that longs to go… into the unknown?”

HEARTS by Jessie Ware.

→ “Hearts aren’t supposed to hurt like that. They’re not supposed to break so fast. They say that time’s a healer. How long is this burn supposed to last?”

TORN DOWN by Art of Dying.

“I won’t give into the violence. I will not drown, I will not rage. I won’t get lost in the silent screams that fall on me.”

Last month’s favorite: I reeeeally liked that Panic! at the Disco did a song/cover for Frozen 2, and it did get stuck in my head quite a lot. But “About Love” was one that I listened to pretty regularly throughout March. I love Marina! 😍
