Another month gone? Holy cake! (Yes, I’ve adopted this phrase from Aurora Rising, thank you very much.)
I can’t believe it’s September, and it’s officially unofficially pumpkin spice season. ? Listen, I am ALL FOR celebrating autumn and all things pumpkin and Halloween as early as possible, because quite plainly, I want it to be fall as soon as possible. I’m sick of heat and humidity and I’m ready for cool weather, sweaters, and crunchy leaves on the ground.

BOOKS I READ IN JULY + AUGUST
I think I told myself at the end of July that I wasn’t even going to do a monthly recap, because I barely read anything, just like June! (That was embarrassing.) I was struggling to get through We Hunt The Flame mostly, but I’m proud to say that I finished two audiobooks AND two books!
Total pages read: 889 (avg. 444 per month)
Total audio listened to: 1,811 minutes (avg. 905 min per month)
✨Do you have thoughts on We Hunt the Flame? I had to DNF it, though I may revisit it in the distant future. (Probably not anytime this year, honestly.)
BOOKS I REVIEWED IN JULY
Average rating: 4.25
✨If you’ve read Aurora Rising the good old-fashioned way, I recommend giving the audiobook version a try for an EVEN BETTER experience!
