I feel like it’s just about mandatory to begin a monthly recap post with: “OMG is it actually (insert month here) already?!?!?!?!”

But, in all actuality, the rhetorical question is pretty legit. It really does happen when you get older – time really does get faster, and there really isn’t enough time in a day to do anything you want to do when you work 40+ hours a week.

September had some quirks though. My boyfriend and I celebrated EIGHT years together, and we went on some pretty great dates this month! So, that makes up for my crappy reading, right?

BOOKS I GOT IN SEPTEMBER

Bought: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (audio)Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (audio)
eBook Buys: Serpent & Dove
NetGalley eARCs: Only Mostly Devastated
OwlCrate Subscription Box: The Bone HousesThe Haunting of Hill House

✨ I’m super excited for Serpent & Dove and The Bone Houses!

BOOKS I READ IN SEPTEMBER

Four Dead Queens
309 pages
(75% at the end of September)

Total pages read: 309
Total audio listened to: 1,135 minutes

✨September was a real bummer for reading for me. I’m happy to have finished yet another book in the Harry Potter series, audiobook edition, but even though I started Four Dead Queens on September 1st, I’m still only 84% (today). I have got to amp up my reading somehow.

✨And since I had such a horrid reading month… there are also no reviews to speak of here.

POSTED IN SEPTEMBER

✨I’d say 10 posts in a month is pretty great. I’ll try to keep this up! 👍🏻

Was your month more productive than mine? What books did you get for the month of September?
