It may be 2019, but I’ve got one last throwback into 2018: my playlist for December!
I have a Spotify account that I use daily. I can’t get through a single day without music (whether it be kids’ songs at work — because that’s what happens when you work with kids — or just a song I have stuck in my head). And, well, let me show you all the songs I got stuck in my head this month!
Each month, I’ll highlight the new-to-me songs that I just can’t seem to get out of my head. The number of songs will vary, and my musical taste is very eclectic (ye be warned!), so there’s always a chance that there’s something on here that will strike a chord within you.
This month, six songs made it onto the playlist! You can find the entire playlist here.
December 2018 Songs
“Without Me” – Halsey
“Happier” – Bastille, Marshmello
“Thief” – Ansel Elgort
“Shelter” – Porter Robinson, Madeon
“Sound of Walking Away” – ILLENIUM, Kerli
“I’m Here” – Puppet, Foria
I feel like there was an abundance of ‘electronic’ music last month; at least half of the playlist! I also listened to a lot of Christmas songs (OBVS), but I didn’t include those because nothing really new came into my radar. Also, did anyone else know that Ansel Elgort sang?!? I’m kinda in love with his voice.
I think my favorite last month was: a tie between “Sound of Walking Away” & “Shelter” – I played both quite a few times!
What new songs came into your life lately? Do you like any of the songs above? Let’s chat about music!
Currently: I just got home from a re-certification class for First Aid & CPR, and had a late lunch with my boys. So I’m relaxing with a drink and my hardcover Girls of Paper and Fire – determined to finish it tonight! – while Rowan plays.
Reading: Just for Clicks – Kara McDowell & Girls of Paper and Fire – Natasha Ngan
Drinking: Blue Moon … because why not!
