bookish / top ten tuesday, where i talk about christmas movies, and what my faves are!
I’m back for another Top Ten Tuesday, and this week is a FREEBIE topic! Honestly, I really liked what our dear TTT host did: her favorite Christmas movies! And I want to follow in her footsteps!

Before this past weekend, I never had cable. That means I could never watch the Hallmark channel and indulge in oodles of Christmas movies! Now that I can watch them anytime I want (thanks mom and letting me use her Philo account!), my top ten Christmas movies are bound to change up by the end of the month.

But for now… I still have a bunch of Christmas classics that never get old. And these are my top ten!

Top 10 Christmas Movies

  • A Christmas Story – In the 1940s, a young boy named Ralphie attempts to convince his parents, his teacher and Santa that a Red Ryder BB gun really is the perfect Christmas gift.
  • Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town – A mailman reveals the origin of Santa Claus.
  • Jingle All the Way – A father vows to get his son a Turbo Man action figure for Christmas. However, every store is sold out of them, and he must travel all over town and compete with everybody else in order to find one.
  • National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation – The Griswold family’s plans for a big family Christmas predictably turn into a big disaster.
Don’t you just love Christmastime? What topic did you pick for this week’s top ten Tuesday? Do you love Christmas movies, and have you seen any of my top ten?
