playlist / a monthly list of all the things i've been watching, from tv shows to movies to youtube vids!
So, I totally skipped my watch list for December (oh yeah, these kinds of things happen around here, you’ll get used to it). But, let’s just move on, shall we? Best not to dwell on the past. 🤪

Now that my son is getting a bit older and has a longer attention span, he’s been watching some classic Disney and Pixar movies with me, as you’ll obviously see in my list for last month.

Disney+ is probably one of the best monthly purchases I’ve made! I love getting all nostalgic and watching an old Disney movie – and especially sharing all of these movies with my son, who will be 2 in 2½ months! 😰 If Netflix weren’t free with my phone plan and I had to choose between the two, it would be a very rough choice.

But here’s all the animated classics we casually watched in January!

movies

TOY STORY was a huge hit with my son, as well as FINDING NEMO. Walking and talking toys really fascinated him. 😄 It also firmly held my attention because I hadn’t seen it in so long! TARZAN was also another one I hadn’t seen in a while. Rowan watched while eating dinner, and was so enthralled he sometimes forgot to eat. 😂 If I thought he loved Toy Story, he loved TOY STORY 2 just as much! ALADDIN was more for me and my boyfriend than it was for Rowan. He didn’t watch this one as much, but it was understandable.

I gave CARS a shot because Rowan loves playing with anything with wheels, but it wasn’t a hit, per se. He honestly wasn’t very impressed with MONSTER’S INC., ZOOTOPIA, MULAN, or ALADDIN as much, either. He’d rather re-watch Toy Story 1 + 2 and Finding Nemo!

television

One of my co-worker asked if I’d watched SCHITT’S CREEK yet, and I said I hadn’t. So one day when my mom was over, we started watching it, and wooow is it funny! Mom is my favorite. Then Isaac and I were looking for something to watch one day, and we settled on SHAMELESS – finally! I can’t believe we hadn’t started this earlier!!! And then, of course, Isaac and I hopped onto THE WITCHER bandwagon, and I’m in love with Geralt. 😍 🎵 Toss a coin to your witcher, o’ valley of plenty 🎵

I finally started watching the second season of YOU, but I’m still working my way through it. At Isaac was feeling a documentary one day, and we settled on DRAIN THE BERMUDA TRIANGLE. Kind of fascinating, but halfway through I lost interest, and apparently so did Isaac because he was passed out on the couch. 🤣 And we watched the finale of V WARS which was kind of disappointing… but I’ll probably keep a look out for season 2 whenever that airs.

Guys! I found a metal cover for “Toss a Coin to Your Witcher” 😆 It’s pretty awesome, actually.

My bff Jes has a booktube channel, and even though I am not all that into booktube, I try to watch some of her videos and support her when I can! But go watch her because she’s fun and pretty!

What shows or movies have you been watching lately? Do you have disney+? Are you into booktube?

Ohh, Drain the bermuda triangle sounds so good – Looks to me like the Oak Island search, which myself and dad absolutely LOVES!

I’m not a big movie/TV Show person… I cancelled my Netflix a good while ago, don’t have Disney + and the only really tv shows that I listen to is the ones in french that we record on our satellite TV and watch all together as a family xd
other than that, I’m watching a Let’s Play of Resident Evil 7 on youtube by TheRadBrad.

    • I’ve never played any Resident Evil games (or watched them be played), but I’ve always been curious about them. I watched the movies when I was still high school-age! I wish I had more time to play video games nowadays.. I used to really love them.
